SDU, The University of Southern Denmark. The University of Southern Denmark (SDU) is a popular choice for international students, including those from Bangladesh. SDU is known for its high-quality education, research opportunities, and international environment.

SDU– The University of Southern Denmark

A few English-taught bachelor’s programs are available, particularly in engineering and business. There is a broader selection of English-taught master’s programs, including those in Engineering, Economics, IT, and International Studies. A full-time semester load is 30 ECTS. For most master-level courses, you must have completed 180 ECTS (equivalent to 3 years of study).  See the individual faculty entry requirements for more details. We offer courses at master and bachelor level. Select courses from one campus only. Language Requirements at SDU:

  • English Proficiency: For English-taught programs, SDU requires proof of English proficiency, usually through IELTS, TOEFL, or similar tests.
  • IELTS (including IELTS Online) (academic test): 6.5 overall band score.
  • TOEFL iBT (internet-based + Home Edition): 88
  • C2 Proficiency (CPE): 180/ level C1
  • C1 Advanced (CAE): 180/ grade C

Tuition Fees

  • Non-EU/EEA Students: As a Bangladeshi student, tuition fees apply. The fees for master’s programs generally range from €8,000 to €13,000 per year, depending on the program. Application Fee: € 100. SDU offers scholarships for highly qualified international students, which can cover tuition fees and provide a living allowance.
