After graduation, students may apply for a residence permit to search for full-time work. Those who secure employment can eventually become eligible for permanent residency (PR) in Greece.

Required Documents for Greece Student Visa (D Visa). To apply for a long-stay “D” visa for studying in Greece, Students must submit:

  • Kindly submit the below required documents:
    • Application form for a Long Stay “D” Visa
    • Photos (with white background)
    • Valid passport, not destroyed, with validity of at least 1.5 years (1 year and 6 months) from the date of submission of the application
    • Proof of sufficient funds to cover the living expenses during the stay in Greece (equivalent to at least € 400 per month during the period of studies)
    • Recent original Police Cearance Certificate with Apostille. The validity of Police Clearance Certificate should be not more than three (3) months from the date of submission of the application at the Visa Application Centre for Greece. The Police Clearance Certificate should be recent and duly attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, Dhaka.
    • Travel insurance valid for the 1st year
    • Visa fees of € 90, are pre-payable in the below bank account, prior to the submission of the application. The Visa Fee is non-refundable.
    • Documents for being accepted from the College or University
    • Direct mail from Greek University to Consular Section to determine the exact type of visa required
    • Relevant approval of operation form from the Ministry of Education in Greece of the Greek College or University that you have been accepted
    • Proof of studies background
    • Details regarding the studies (whether courses will be conducted in Greek or English etc)
    • Proof of payment of at least one third of the tuition fees
    • After submission of application and completion of interview, applicants will be directed for medical exams. The medical report is sent directly to the Greek Embassy in about a week’s time.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • All Visa Fees are payable by TT (Telegraphic Transfer) in Euro (EUR) to the below bank account.
  • All Visa Fees are non-refundable.

Prospective applicants must visit the bank of their choice, carrying with them a copy of their passport and a printed copy of the relevant visa fee charges as shown on the website. In the bank they must fill out a deposit slip and a TM form, with the details of the below account:

SERVICE FEE:

The Service Fee amounts to 30 EUR, payable in BDT, per application over and above the Visa Fees for all applications.
The Service Fee is calculated daily based on the EUR/BDT exchange rate provided by the European Central Bank.

CROSS-BORDER DELIVERY FEE:
The Cross-Border delivery fee amounts to BDT 10200 (mandatory charges to courier the applications to the Embassy of Greece in New Delhi for processing) per application over and above the Visa & Service Fees.

Cross-Border delivery fee and Value-Added Services are payable in cash in the equivalent amount in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT), as per the current exchange rate, at the time of submission of application at the Visa Application Center for Greece in Dhaka and are subject to change without notice.
